Kedma Ough, MBA - MIPO Business Director

Ms. Ough is responsible for designing and executing MIPO. Ms. Ough has 10+ years in developing programs that support small business development. Ms. Ough received her Masters in Business Administration and has been representing inventors in Oregon for the last 5 years.

Christine Knapp, MIPO Coordinator

Ms Knapp's experience spans more than 30+ years in sales, marketing and management. As an inventor she has had 2 issued patents and currently has 3 in patent pending status as well as a number of other ideas in different stages of design, concept, documentation etc. Christine has first hand experience in negotiating a licensing agreement with one of her issued patents that eventually licensed to Playtex International for more than $600k.

 

Jeff Woller, Patent Attorney

Supports MIPO through Training Classes. Mr. Woller was a patent examiner at the United States Patent & Trademark and has practice law in Washington DC and Oregon. He graduated with honors from George Washington University School of Law.

 

David Orr, PHD, MIPO Patent Agent

Dr. Orr, PHD is a registered Patent Agent with the USPTO and has 25 years experience in the technology and patent industry . Dr. Orr holds an MBA from Pepperdine, an MS in Computer Science from University of Houston, an MS in Mathematics from University of Texas, and a Ph.D. in Physics from the University of Texas. Patent Agent Registration 44,988.

 

Charles Leatherwood, MIPO Product Designer

Mr. Leatherwood has been a product/exhibit designer for the past eight years experience providing technical expertise in patent prepared drawings, design concept/development and design fabrication, design level technology support to high tech start-up companies. He holds a BA in Industrial Design.

 

Steve Lowry, MIPO Office Coordinator

Mr. Lowry provides MIPO members with ongoing information on classroom workshops, consulting with the MIPO team, and events that support indepedent inventors.
