Innovate 20 Program

Innovate 20 is a six month program geared at inventors that have the potential to bring their product concept to market. The six-month program is focused on bringing new technology to markets through licensing venues, sales development, accessing financing sources and building a brand portfolio.

How do you qualify?

To qualify for the program, inventors need to have a patent pending status for their product or business method model, business plan or feasibility plan completed, and a completed prototype. If you do not have sales you must provide an explanation of milestones achieved.

What is the program calendar?

The program selection process begins each February. Participants meet from March through August at monthly training session in conjunction with monthly coaching sessions.

What is the fee?

The program fee is $ 750.00 for the 6 month program for members. We offer interest free payment plans and credit card options. In addition, we have 2 slots available that would be eligible for a sliding scale reduction based on the inventor’s financial situation.

There is a $ 25.00 non-refundable application fee for all interested parties applying for the Innovate 20 program.

What are the commitments to the program?

Applicants have to sign an agreement that they will participate in all training and coaching sessions. Each applicant must commit to doing the necessary assignments. In addition, applicants must sign a contract with MIPO to provide a negotiated amount of proceeds based on business development sales and licensing contracts obtained as a result of the program.
